Pilates with a Heart Scholarship by ARC Pilates
We aim to bring together Pilates lovers, teachers, students, and movement enthusiasts from all over the globe...
"Pilates is a life source. It is my livelihood, my passion, my healthcare, and my community... Pilates has taught me to lead with my heart and share from the humility of my own experiences"
"Pilates means kindness to your body, mind and spirit. It's soothing and a way to be calm in this high paced world... I love going to Pilates and am grateful for the inspiring teacher that I have. The knowledge, the creative and fun instructor makes going so worthwhile."
For me, Pilates (classical or contemporary) is about dignity, balance and alignment. Our length is our dignity, our balance is about how we experience our world and alignment is about that connection with head and heart."
Karen Copeland - Pilates Instructor
"I am excited to be a part of this Canadian celebration of Pilates, Pilates Fest North. I became a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor in 2016, although I have been a student for many years. That same year I opened my home studio just outside of Calgary, AB. Health and wellness has been a focus of mine for decades. I also have a passion for running and I believe my Pilates practice kept me injuryfree. Now my love of Pilates has taken a front seat to my running. I never thought I would say that. I am so excited for this event and look forward to making many more connections at Pilates Fest North!!"

James Crader - Pilates Expert
James Crader is a Movement Coach specializing in Pilates and John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy, a CoreAlign Faculty Member, and owner of EvolvedBody in Sacramento, CA. Growing up he'd never thought anything fitness would be his calling. What he was good at was experiencing and storytelling. He loved to listen, explore, play with the shapes he could make while rolling around on the ground, and he even practiced writing with his toes (just in case). All that made fora weird kid, but an innovative movement educator. James began his Pilates training with Balanced Body, but has gone on to study with numerous teachers from many lineages of Pilates and beyond. He's hosted podcasts, written blogs, and taught workshops on movement and culture. You can find out more about James and EBStudio atwww.EvolvedBodyStudio.com

Lesley Logan — Pilates Instructor
"I am so excited to teach at Pilates Fest North because I am all about getting together IRL with other Pilates lovers and doing more of what we love-Pilates. When you get out of your routine, go somewhere that's not familiar and allow yourself to meet new people you learn more than another way to do the 100! You learn more about yourself, others and you will create friendships that will last a lifetime. I think it's so important that we connect with other teachers from all over because we can learn more when we are together than when we are apart. AND!! I've never seen Calgary so Pilates Canada I can't wait for you to show me what you got!"
